OBS did not work on my pc

Having been consistent issues with the settings on OBS while while using the "Start Streaming" feature, such as dropping frames and significant lagging. At one point during a stream I did, it crashed. With the specs listed below, what would be the best settings to stream on OBS? I

PC Specs)
Processor/CPU - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1255U 1.70 GHz
Installed RAM/Memory - 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
Graphics/GPU - Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics
System Type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
