Atk source - added I/O device. Input: Goxlr Music L / Goxlr Music R

Output: Goxlr Chat L / Goxlr Chat R

Now inside goxlr app when routing my CHAT channel to my speakers I expect to hear spotify. The same setup works with Element standalone but right now I only see the OBS input meter play spotify via the asio music channel but can't hear it on my speakers. If I monitor my atk channel (monitoring device is the system channel) it's audible via the systems channel.

Shouldn't I be able to hear also whatever I setup as output device in the I/O filter? Actually when switching I/O out device there is a short click, maybe a hint of a note playing on spotify but then it's silent.

You need to use 2 instances of Device IO filters. The first one captures the input from your desired source device. And then second one outputs to your target devce. Device IO filter doesn't output its own input capture. It outputs 'what ever is coming in from the underlying OBS source chain'.

Thanks! You can also use the internal router of Plugin Host2 for stuff like this. Go to options > device settings > asio, and then you can connect asio inputs and outputs directly, and insert audio plugins (scan first) and obs sources/outputs between.

hey one more question. how do I use the plugin host 2 correctly? If I set it up like in the screenshot I can hear myself perfectly all good. But the meter inside OBS shows nothing and it also doesn't record. Do I need an I/O out anyway?

Add OBS Output node, and connect the input pins also to OBS Output node.

I think I have an overall understanding of what the plugin is trying ot achieve and how the basics work now. now I can finally try and set everything up. thanks so much for your support
 
Hello! This is an awesome plugin. Thank you for creating it. Im stumped with how to get it set up for my particular case.

Here's what im trying to do - Take an ASIO audio input (ZOOM L8 mixer) which has two microphones connected, split those into two audio chains, apply VST3 effects to each of the two mono mic inputs, and finally output those back to OBS Studio and make them controllable in the OBS Studio volume mixer.

I've achieved the output into OBS Studio using the OBS output node, however this only creates a single audio PH2out1 audio source. Adding a second OBS Output does not create a second OBS Studio audio source. Image as an example of what im trying to achieve from a single ASIO source with multiple inputs.

Hi! Apparently there's a bug. Try updating to latest OBS and this pre-release: https://github.com/atkAudio/PluginForObsRelease/releases/tag/0.20.1

Just wanted to share that the plugin is amazing and is what I needed. Thanks!

However, the Source Mixer source is a bit confusing for me. I'd like it to act as a Master track for other audio sources, but what I get is actually more like a pre-fader Send track, so it actually doubles audio instead of summing it.

I may be a bit silly, but I can't get my head to make it work the way I'd like it to. Could you please help?

Hi! Indeed, the original source tracks continue outputting to "main mix", unless you take their volume down, or mute them, in OBS mixer. Thus, if you capture sources with Source Mixer, and then take your original source tracks volume down in OBS mixer, you will get a master (or sub/group) mix from the Source Mixer.

Guys, when i load a Guitar Plugin (Amp Sim from Neural DSP) the latency is HUGE. However, if I open the standalone plugin (without OBS) with the same settings, Buffer size 192, it sounds great. Only when I load it from OBS does it have latency.
